INTRODUCTION FROM THE HEALTHCARE SHOWERING EXPERTS

This month’s Ask The Expert feature will be an opportunity to remind ECCA newsletter readers why Impey Showers is the number one in showering for the healthcare market. We care about people with any sort of personal care issue and we’ve built a business on designing and developing innovative, award winning solutions to help those that need assistance with
showering.

Impey Showers was founded back in 1995 and since then we’ve been designing and manufacturing the highest quality wetrooms. Over 250, 000 wetrooms have been installed with Impey products and our Level-Dec was the original pre-formed wetroom floor former and is the concept that the majority of wetroom floor formers are now based on.

CATCH UP WITH THE EXPERTS AT A
CONFERENCE NEAR YOU

We are looking forward to the forthcoming ECCA conference on 16th November. It’s one of our key diary dates as it enables us to get in front of important stakeholders; those who have direct contact with people with healthcare needs. ‘Living Well at Home’ was a recent inquiry which highlighted the importance of the home in the current debate about the need for care and support of an ageing population. Chief Political Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister, Norman Lamb MP argued that health reform had to go far beyond reforming the NHS and highlighted the vital role that housing and housing-related support services have to play in tackling rising health costs, preventing ill health and integrating care.

UNRIVALLED SUPPORT

During the ECCA conference we will present the new unique Maxi-Grip support handrails. These handrails have been improved to feature a square profile with rounded corners and have been acknowledged by the RNIB as being beneficial in providing improved rotational slip resistance. Maxi-Grip also has a unique adjustable corner fixing which allows the rails to be fitted in internal or external corners or to create angled rails of 30, 45, 60 or 90 degrees.

ADVANCEMENTS IN WETROOM TECHNOLOGY

The Level Dec Advance is an improved and updated version of our Level Dec wetroom floor former. LDA allows for easy positioning of the waste water outlet so installation is easy. It creates a completely unrestricted wetroom shower space with excellent drainage
performance so it is suitable for people of all ages and abilities.

AN EXCITING NEW OFFERING

January 2012 will see the launch of our brand new and long-awaited Care Solutions Directory. The directory includes new products, improved photography and product descriptions and we believe it will be the easiest directory to use from any manufacturer in this market.
