After a busy show at KBB in March, it was straight on to planning our next exhibition appearance. Despite the fact that PHEX Wembley was far more compact than KBB, the level of interest in not only the Impey brand, but also our products, was highly commendable.
Having never exhibited at a PHEX show before, we used the two day event as a way to ‘dip our toes in the water’ and see how well visitors responded to our presence. There is no doubting that it proved to be highly successful not only in terms of the number of leads we walked away with, but also in raising Impey’s profile amongst our key market of plumbers and installers.
We used the opportunity to showcase our Aqua-Dec and Aqua-Dec Advance wetroom floor formers as well as undertaking a thirty minute demonstration, which provided visitors with a step-by-step guide on how easy the products are to install.
It was also great to see so many 2nd and 3rd year students attend the exhibition as it was the ideal place to educate them on how simple wetroom installation can be. A strong part of our initiative here at Impey is to provide professionals with the confidence and know-how to fit a wetroom in any environment with ease and efficiency so it proved to be a real success in that sense. We were able to promote our training courses at our on-site ‘Centre of Excellence’, which received a very positive response, so we will hopefully be seeing many of you that visited us sometime soon!
One of the biggest surprises we found was the number of fitters we spoke to who had never entertained the concept of a wetroom or would dismiss the installation of a wetroom upstairs. It is our mission to change these perceptions and encourage every installer to not only have the confidence to undertake such tasks, but also have trust in Impey’s products and believe that they are no-fuss, pioneering solutions to make the life of the professional easier.
