The Olympic
torch relay carried on its journey through the South West yesterday, arriving
in a slightly soggy but enthusiastic Bridport. The undeterred locals along with
the Impey Showers and Bridports’ Ocean Bathrooms cheered on the torch
procession.
Ocean
Bathrooms and the town had been decorated with bunting and flags for the
arrival, which will stay up during the summer to show support for the Olympics.
Carrying the torch through Bridport was Katie Norman, Laura Kerr and
Peter Hellawell who were among the 8,000 inspirational torchbearers chosen to
carry the flame through the UK.
All in all
it was a brilliant day and a great opportunity for us to show support for the
UK in this summer’s Olympics.
If you have any events planned, get in touch and we can discuss how Impey can help
